ABOUT US

John Asplund started with his first greenhouse in 1959. Today Asplunds Grönsaker Ab have 20 employees and 15 000 m2 greenhouses.

Our greenhouses are equipped with the latest technology and artificial lightning. We are packing the lettuce in our own flow-pack machines and cucumbers with a wrapping machine. At present time our vegetables are sold to central stores in Finland and Sweden.

We are continuously developing our cultivation. Since 2010 we are heating all the greenhouses with renewable fuel and 2012 we started our own windmills that keep the greenhouses with green electricity.
